Financial aid
The Office of Financial Aid exists to assist students in finding ways to finance their college education. The majority of funds administered by Spelman College’s Office of Financial Aid come from federal and state sources. Spelman College will attempt to provide financial assistance to families who have been determined eligible based on the formula approved by Congress and used by the Department of Education.
Charges for laboratory fees, private music lessons and bowling and golf fees will be determined according to course registrations and detailed on the student's account when applicable. Also,the Student Medical Insurance may be waived if applicable.
